Today, I was fortunate enough to participate in "Instructional Rounds" at the High School. This is a time when teachers from around the district go and observe other teachers, as they focus on an instructional strategy. In my absence, the children had a very busy day , as Ms. Langan and Ms. Lewis led the class.
The Kindergarteners danced to the song/poem "Months of The Year" and then added this poem to their poetry folders. Ms. Behr led the class during Fundations as the class reviewed the letters "v" and "w".
Tomorrow, I am looking forward to beginning new Literacy Stations and Guided Reading groups with the class. We will also observe and write on different types of paper.
