Today we continued our Literacy Stations from last week. Children read in guided reading groups, acted stories out during independent reading, and worked on their hot cocoa mugs. On Friday we will finish our rotations.
During Fundations, we started to work on forming capital letters! We used our white boards to practice writing "A" and "B". As we learn how to form these letters, we will also be working on writing our names by practicing in the morning.
During math, we continued to work on word problems. As I told a word problem, the children had to determine if it would have "more or less at the end". We then practiced writing the equation that matched the story on gel boards!
