Wow! The Kindergarteners had a blast on all the snow outside! It was such fun to watch them play, make snowmen, and enjoy all that nature has given us!
We also had some work to do, and managed to get things done inside the classroom, too! :-) . We focused on rhyming words during Fundations as we have seen this be an area where some children are still struggling. We also tapped and created new words based on sounds and vowels that are difficult for many (b vs. d . , u vs. o).
For our Star of The Week, we guessed Elyse's clues so the children had fun guessing her 3 items that start with E- elephant, elastics, and an egg! We look forward to having her Star Reader join us tomorrow:-)
During math, we re-started our "teen chain" project- where we focus on teen numbers being a group of 10 and some more... We hope to display these chains for all to see!
