We started our day with the question, "does the Earth have more water or more land?". After looking at the globe, we learned that the Earth, in fact, has more water than land. We then watched a short episode of "Charlie and Lola" which focused on taking care of the earth and how we can recyle, reduce, and reuse. After reading the book Recyle, Recyle, Recyle, the Kindergartneners brainstormed and then wrote 4 ways that they can help protect our earth. We will be displaying these writing samples in our classroom.

Brennan's brother, Declan, also joined us this morning to read as Brennan's Star Reader. Thank you for joining us this morning, Declan!

We ended our day by playing "Spin to 10". In this game, children had to figure out the missing addend when creating equations to 10. We willl play this game again next week during math stations.  Ask your child if he/she can share an equation that would equal 10...
