Today we practiced new assigned table spots at lunch. We talked to the class how we have thoughtfully thought about their new spots and hope that this will help each child each their lunch, follow the group plan and help everyone have good thoughts. We practiced a few times during Open Circle.
During Fundations, we spent time working on digraphs and letter sounds. We used magnetic boards and also use our pocket chart. The Kindergarteners are becoming much more proficient with their vowel sounds and digraph sounds.
We ended our day with math. Some children worked inside with me to create and write math equations, while others went outside with Ms. Dennehy to practice number writing.
