Today was a very quick day. The children loved seeing the 5th Grade play, "Summer Camp" and were a fabulous audience. They danced to the music, laughed at all the jokes, and appreciated the work that the 5th Graders put into the play. If you are interested, they will be another performance tonight.
We also had Fundations today. Using sentence strips, one child created a sentence that I dictated. Then, other children came up to change the sentence by one word. Finally, all the Kindergarteners used their white boards to write the sentence. We are still focusing on using a capital letter ONLY at the beginning of a sentence and a period or exclamation point to end our sentences.
