This morning we read Be Kind as a Segway to Open Circle about why it's so important to be kind. At this time of the year, when children are very used to each other, we have noticed children forgetting about the importance of treating each other kindly and thinking about our tone of voice as we talk to each other.
We completed our rotation of Literacy Stations- we will start new stations this week, continuing to practice and reinforce all that we have leaned this year!
We started learning out Jemima, our Star of The Week today! Jemima did a fabulous job sharing her poster and giving us clues to guess her mystery items. Her mystery items included a piece of ginger, a jar, and juice.
During math, the Kindergartners worked on representing a numeral. They had to draw and represent the numeral, figure out if it was odd or even. Also, they were asked to represent the number in tally marks and to show one more and one less.
We ended our day with Harper's dad joining us as our Mystery Reader .Thank you for spending part of your afternoon with us! :-)
