We started our morning with a wonderful school meeting! We learned about the Green Team who helps take care of the Loker Garden. There are opportunities on line (through the Loker website) to help water and take care of the Loker garden over the summer. Check it out! We also saw a slide show of all the Loker students throughout this year. It was a great way to help us remember and reminisce about our year.
We spent Reader's Workshop outside reading many of our Lio Lionni books. This was part of the PRIDE countdown and a fabulous way to enjoy the beautiful weather!
Ms. Pirelli came and joined us and read Last Day Blues which focuses on the mixture of feelings many of us (including teachers!) feel around this time of the year. Ms Pirelli helped us share our feelings of sadness, excitement, and even determination as the year comes to a close.
