The Kindergarteners, once again, had a fabulous start to their day. Each child has done a fabulous job learning the routines of our morning and starting their day in a calm and expected way.
At morning meeting, Ms. Richlen and I shared about our families. Starting tomorrow, we will ask each Kindergartener to tell us about their family, using the photo that was brought in. If you have not yet sent in a picture, we would appreciate if you could send in a picture by next Monday, September 17. Thank you so much!
I read the children a book that was made just for them by last year's Kindergarteners. In this book, the children who were in my class last year described some of their favorite parts of being in Room 1. Using this information I asked the Kindergarteners to draw their hopes for this school year. I look forward to sharing these with you tonight.
Ms Lepow joined us during math today and read Over In The Ocean In The Coral Reef. The Kindergarteners helped to count the different animals inside the book!
