We had a terrific second day of school! The Kindergarteners knew just what to do when they arrived at school and started their day in a calm and comfortable way. We read the book Arnie and His School Tools to help us discuss the fact that "everyone gets what they need" and some children use "school tools" (such as a cube chair or a fidget) to help them do their best learning.
We also learned our new alphabet song today- see if your child will sing it to you! The Kindergarteners also put their first book (an ABC book) in their book bin today.
We ended our day by counting and graphing our school days so far! We then followed along with "Maximo" (on Go Noodle) - a program that the children really enjoyed yesterday.
