The Kindergarteners continued to have such fun today writing non-fiction stories . Some chose to continue their stories about Tacky the Penguin while others used a picture prompt of cow who was stuck going over a fence! Some Kindergarteners chose to work in a small group with me, while others either worked independently or with a buddy. We will be sending these home soon for you to see (we will try and "translate" the Kindergarten inventive spelling!)
During math today, the children worked in partners to make mittens! The challenge was to make sure that the mittens matched which meant that the children took turns to put a design on the mitten and then the other child had to copy what his /her partner did. We will have these hung up in our classroom for you to see :-)
